BLIXER®

Blixer® is a registered trademark of Robot Coupe that combines the qualities of a cutter and a blender/mixer in a single device. Blixer are very useful for preparing different types of food with a modified consistency, while retaining their flavour. They will be a great help in making vegetable soups, baby and elderly people's baby food or special types of butter such as peanut butter or almond butter. Blixer homogenisers are particularly suitable for bakeries, restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes and kindergartens.

Blixer homogenisers allow all emulsification jobs to be carried out easily and safely thanks to the large capacity of their containers as well as their extremely safe lids and motor brake, which prevent the operator using the Blixer from touching the blades while the device is in operation.

HOW DOES THE BLIXER® DIFFER FROM MIXERS AND CUTTERS?

Blixers combine the ability of a professional cutter to chop food with the power of a blender to make any type of food creamy. Blixers are perfect for creating velvety soups, creams and homogenised food because the nutrients of the food are not lost during the homogenisation process and the taste of the food remains unaltered. These homogenisers are made of stainless steel and are equipped with a plastic and rubber scraper that, thanks to a constant circular action, prevents the food from sticking to the sides of the container and ensures the homogenisation of creams.

The term mixer usually refers to classic blenders or immersion mixers which, unlike Blixers, consist of a small motor and a crushing tube. Mixers are suitable for very high pots and are operated by the arm of an operator. Cutters are very similar to Blixers, but do not always succeed in creating homogeneous creams and velvety sauces also because, unlike Blixers, they are not equipped with a scraper that acts on the walls.

HOW DOES THE BLIXER® DIFFER FROM MIXERS AND CUTTERS?

Blixer homogenisers do more than just chop food: the blades can be smooth or toothed and are very effective for creating real velvety soups and creams. In addition to the blades, a scraper that mixes the mixture and prevents the food from sticking to the walls ensures homogeneous velvety dishes. Finally, another great advantage is that the Blixers do not have to be physically guided by the operator, as is the case with immersion mixers, but autonomously homogenise the food placed in the bowl.
