Blue steel baking trays 30x40 cm with rim heights ranging from 2 to 5 cm. Ideal dimensions also for home ovens.

The BLUITA sheet guarantees excellent heat transmission and great strength. It is an iron baking tray with a special treatment that makes it food-safe. It heats up less quickly than its aluminium counterparts, but is able to absorb more heat and retain it for longer. In addition, thanks to its contained thickness of 8/10, it has excellent thermal transmittance.

Despite its reduced thickness compared to aluminium, this product is just as resistant to both thermal and structural deformation, if not even more robust in ovens that are not perfectly balanced. Other important features include 90° bent edges and manually welded corners.

The trays are tested up to 280°C and are suitable for baking food products. They are particularly suited for pan pizza.

For the first use, seasoning is strongly recommended. This particular procedure consists of greasing the tray, using a brush or kitchen paper, with cooking oil (after washing and drying it thoroughly), then placing it in an oven preheated to maximum power for 10/15 minutes, and finally letting it cool down. This process creates a protective patina on the surface, which helps preserve the tray by preventing oxidation.

As this material is intended for contact with food products, it must be cleaned after each use, avoiding running water and using a non-abrasive sponge, dried with great care to completely prevent the possible formation of rust over time, and then stored in hygienically suitable places.

Not suitable for use in humid environments such as proofing chambers.
