Aluminium bread peel

Aluminium peel, 36x51 and 56x51 cm.

Oven peel made from a single aluminium casting, lightweight thanks to the material and the perforated structure of the head. The front section features a pronounced taper to facilitate picking up bread; due to this feature, the area has been reinforced to preserve its integrity given the overall mass of the peel. The rear of the plate near the handle also has a dedicated reinforcement to prevent breakage from the weight of the load.

The fully perforated structure not only makes the peel lighter, but also reduces friction with the product and allows the peel to better absorb the natural deformation caused by the heat of the oven.

All around the plate there is an edge a few centimetres high that helps to contain the loaded material, preventing it from falling during handling.

The handle socket is square with a 3 cm side and a depth of 8 cm in the smaller version and 11 cm in the 56 cm version, designed to create a firm connection to increase the overall strength of the peel while accommodating its flexibility. At the top of this socket you will find a pre-drilled hole for a locking screw. Alternatively, it is always possible to drill the aluminium to change the screw position. At the front of this area there is an additional hole for adding a lead screw if needed, which must be secured with the help of a washer.
